FOR ARTISTS AND CURATORS

Contemporary Kyiv invites artists, collectives, and curators to engage with the Poyavy of Contemporary Kyiv. We are not tied to any single format or genre, and we remain open to proposals. We are interested in contemporary ways of thinking about the phenomenon of artistic appearance — exhibition, performance, process, conversation, intervention, or something that does not yet have a name. If your work responds to a particular moment, context, or idea that seeks to appear, we would be glad to hear from you.

We are not running formal open calls, but we are always open to new thoughts, ideas, approaches, and to the people who carry them. If you would like to engage with Contemporary Kyiv or learn more about opportunities for support and collaboration, write to us about yourself and your practice, and include links to works you would like us to see, hear, or read. We may also be interested in ideas that have not yet taken form — and in that case, we would be glad to discuss how we might help them appear.

Write to us by email or through the short form below. As with all institutions, we also have application forms for submitting a project or proposal, but what interests us first is your story about yourself and your artistic practice, your ideas and thoughts — as you would tell them to your friends.
