THE
CONCEPT

Contemporary Kyiv supports and curates Poyavy*. They can take any form — exhibition, performance, publication, screening, or whatever may emerge. We are not bound to any specific genre of art and aim to build an independently governed national collection of Ukrainian contemporary art.​

We work through initiatives, projects, special actions, gatherings, and collaborations across contexts and locations. We welcome art in all forms and media. The artworks may or may not be for sale.

Born from Ukraine’s surge of creative energy, Contemporary Kyiv is dedicated to amplifying Ukrainian art and artists at home and abroad, while broadening space for voices from around the world.
